XAN Scholarships

There are several ways we support our actives through scholarship awards. The scholarship applications can be found below. Please read through the qualifications and apply on this page. Good luck!

  • $350 Scholarship that goes to a rising sophomore. Apply below.

  • $50 Kris Wagner Scholarship goes to the senior with the highest GPA.

The Nancy Montogomery Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was created in loving memory of Nancy Montgomery. Nancy was an outstanding student who was involved in every activity she could at Muskingum and within her community. She was an active member of Chi Alpha Nu, Lambda Sigma, Student Government and 4-H to name a few. She radiated positive energy and her laughter was infectious. Nancy was a bright young woman whose life was cut short her sophomore year in October of 1990 in a tragic car accident. We honor her and her loving spirit by awarding this scholarship to a rising sophomore who exemplifies her qualities.

The winner of this scholarship will be awarded $500 and is to write a thank you to the Montgomery Family upon announcement.

Pre- requisites:

  • Incoming sophomore

  • Active Member of the Chi Alpha Nu Club

  • GPA of 3.2 or higher

  • Involved in extra-curricular activities

The Helen Dejong Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was created in loving memory of Helen Dejong. The winner will be awarded $500.

Pre- requisites:

  • Incoming Junior or Senior

  • Active Member of the Chi Alpha Nu Club

  • Financial Need

  • Reasonable Scholastic Interest

  • Actively contributes to the campus and the XAN Club.

The Kris Wagner Scholarship

This scholarship was created in loving memory of Kris Wagner. This scholarship is worth $500 and is given to the Senior with the highest GPA at the end of Senior year.

Pre- requisites:

  • Senior

  • Active Member of the Chi Alpha Nu Club

  • Highest GPA in the XAN Club
